Usage :
DMDS could be used as an inhibitor in cracking coking of petrochemicals, and solvent, intermediate of pesticides, in agricultural chemistry, it is used for the production of Fenthion. In oil refining industry, widely used as activator in preliminary vulcanization procedure of catalyzers used in certain products (including naphtha, gasoline, kerosene, diesel soil) hydrodesulfurization and hydrocracking process.
Oil refinery use: as presulfiding agent to activate catalysts of hydrotreating units
Petrochemiclas use: to reduce the number of decoking operations
Fine Chemicals use: as Chemical intermediate
Metellurgy use: for its anti-corrosion properties
